Abhisri Ramesh is a current medical student at the George Washington School of Medicine and Health Sciences, with a focus on clinical entrepreneurship. She is particularly interested in the intersection between healthcare, business, and technology and is excited to explore venture capital to apply her interests to advance clinical innovation.
Her previous experiences include working as a Clinical Researcher at the Jacobs School of Medicine, where she was part of a lab studying if changes in brain susceptibility, a feature of MRI Scans, can predict future disease progression in patients with neurodegenerative disorders. She also has experience in health policy and has proposed health intervention programs to the Department of Health to improve emergency room admissions rates and ICU budgets in low-income counties.
Abhisri is the co-founder of a tutoring company, HiFive tutoring, that currently serves over 1,000 students nationally. She has mentored 100+ students to help them exceed in and apply to higher education programs.
In her free time, she enjoys reading, running, and cooking.
