As a Founding Member and CSO of Research & Development for Clear Labs, an innovator in Genomic testing, Ramin leads the vision and strategy for talented teams of dedicated scientists and engineers who make life healthier through genomics and intelligent analytics. As a scientist and researcher, Ramin has deep insights into the world of health, biotechnology, and next-generation sequencing. He regularly presents research findings and advocates for improving clinical genomics and AI.
Before Clear Labs, Ramin spent ten years at the Department of Food Science & Technology at Shahid Beheshti Medical University, heading the Department for the last three of those ten years. Before that, Ramin spent three years as a Senior Advisor to the Food and Drug Organization in Tehran, Iran. Ramin has more than 80 peer-reviewed papers in scientific journals.
Outside of work, Ramin is a Joduka (third black belt in judo) and a USA National Referee for the International Judo Federation. Ramin's passion is to leave a legacy by raising the world's population's quality of life and health.
Ramin earned his DVM at Tabriz University, a degree in Microbiology from Technological University Dublin, and a PhD in Microbiology at the University of Tehran. He is currently an MBA Candidate at The Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania.
