Ramin Khaksar is a genomics platform operator focused on scaling clinical-grade sequencing infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on oncology and precision medicine. As Co-Founder, COO, and Chief Scientific Officer of Clear Labs, he leads the development of automated, end-to-end NGS systems that integrate sample preparation, sequencing, and analytics into a single platform, enabling more reliable, scalable, and accessible genomic testing across clinical and decentralized environments.
He brings a combined background in microbiology, genomics, and business strategy, with more than 80 peer-reviewed publications and experience spanning research, regulatory advisory, and commercial platform development. Prior to Clear Labs, he held academic and leadership roles for over a decade and advised national regulatory bodies on scientific and regulatory matters.
Ramin holds a PhD in Microbiology from the University of Tehran and an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Outside of his professional work, he is a fourth-degree black belt in judo and a USA Judo National Referee.
