Albert Xu, MBA

Albert is an incoming MBA student at NYU Stern with a full-tuition scholarship provided by the university. After his undergraduate studies in Hong Kong, he worked for PwC and EY as a senior auditor for four years, during which he provided professional auditing and advisory services to tens of venture capital and private equity firms, listed companies, and start-ups.
Having realized his strong interest in venture capital and entrepreneurship, Albert aggressively entered the VC industry and joined Green Pine Capital Partners and Blue Lake Capital, both reputable VC firms located in China. As a highly self-motivated investment analyst, he covered a wide range of deep-tech and business sectors, including Healthcare, EdTech, Self-driving Car, AI, and others, in which he developed first-hand experience and in-depth knowledge. He participated in various Series A to C round investments, which amount to $20 million to $150 million in promising early-stage tech start-ups.
Personally Albert is an affable and approachable young man who demonstrates humility and compassion in his interactions with others. His work ethic, collaborative nature, strategic vision, strong intellect, and analytical skills position him strongly for successful engagement with others on the completion of large scope projects.
In his spare time, Albert enjoys movies, swimming, reading, and chess. He is also the National Gold Prize winner of Chinese Painting and is always happy to share his unusual painting techniques.
