|
Alex is a rising second year medical student at Weill Cornell Medical College in NYC. As someone with experience in the clinical realm, he has witnessed firsthand the incredible impact digital health can have on patient outcomes. As such, he is extremely passionate about the intersection of healthcare and technology, and a full believer in its transformative potential. He has undertaken various fellowships in the biotech and digital health spaces to pursue this passion. Notably, he is also on the leadership team of the Future of Care conference, a health tech conference held annually in NYC that brings together innovative professionals, researchers on the cutting-edge, and just about anyone interested in the space. Future of Care will always be completely free of charge, as Alex and his fellow team members believe the digital health ecosystem should be accessible for everyone.
Prior to medical school, Alex researched the pathobiology of sepsis for two years at the Feinstein Institute. His work has been published in peer-reviewed journals, and he presented his research results at the 2019 Shock Society and Surgical Infection Society Conference in Coronado, CA.
Alex holds a BA in Biology from the University of Pennsylvania. In addition to healthcare, Alex is interested in surfing, hiking, and the great outdoors.
