Alexandra is a graduated senior from Duke University who is passionate about making people healthier and wealthier through behavioral economics. As a freshman, Alexandra noticed herself and her peers’ mental health quickly deteriorating as a result of Duke’s atmosphere of effortless perfection. In her freshman spring, Alexandra took the semester off to found Coven Media, a digital media platform by, for and about college-aged women. As a Behavioral Research Associate under Dan Ariely, Alexandra was awarded Forbes 30 Under 30 Honoree in Digital Media for her behavioral economic work in the digital transformation of financial technologies. Alexandra has previous experience working at a leading boutique investment bank.
In her junior year abroad at Oxford University, Alexandra fell in love with London, soccer (football), and even the English food. A native Southern Californian, Alexandra supports the Los Angeles homeless population through the non-profit she founded in high-school. Alexandra speaks English, French, Spanish and is learning the Cockney accent. Alexandra credits her transition into Venture Capital to her early female mentors who advised her for the simple mission to elevate younger female founders.
