Aparaajita is a Ph.D. candidate at Yale studying RNA biochemistry. Her research aims to understand the role of bacterial non-coding RNAs as well the potential application for RNA regulatory elements in synthetic biology, gene therapy, and antibiotic drug discovery.
She is extremely excited about life science and healthcare VC and is eager to learn more about the digital health and therapeutics space. As a senior associate at Orange Grove Bio and Canaan-Yale fellow, Aparaajita has done deep dives into therapeutics in the immunology, oncology, and neurodegeneration space.
Aparaajita is also one of the co-founders of the Yale Biotech Club. She is also involved in fostering the student entrepreneurial community at Yale through her involvement with Nucleate – New Haven.
Besides working on her thesis project and furthering her VC interests, she enjoys exploring new restaurants, traveling, and reading murder mysterys.
