Arpan Soparkar, MBA

Arpan is currently a 2nd-year MBA student at Berkeley Haas School of Business. In addition to being a Venture Fellow with DigitalDx Ventures, he also serves as a Venture Fellow with Fission Ventures. He has been an instrumental software developer at a number of startups and medium-sized companies in the bay area, in sectors such as HealthTech (digital health, genomics) and FinTech (remittance, commercial real estate) companies. He holds an MS in Computer Engineering from Columbia University and BE in Computer Engineering from Gujarat University.
Arpan is passionate about early-stage investments in sectors of social impact, such as sustainable ag/food systems, health-tech and clean energy. He currently serves as a board observer for Meals on Wheels of Alameda County. He serves as a VP of Haas NetImpact Club and Haas Venture Capital Club. Arpan enjoys frequenting the Ocean Beach in San Francisco with his wife and their 4-years-old son.
