Benjamin Naovarat, MBA

Ben is pursuing an MBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business where he is involved in the Entrepreneurship and Venture Club as well as the Asian-American Business Association. At Michigan Ross, he is the clinical lead for multiple student-run incubators developing novel solutions for surgical outcomes and biomarkers. Prior to business school, Ben spent three years conducting translational research at the University of Texas McGovern Medical School under the mentorship of Dr. John Reveille where he focused on topics ranging from HIV to rheumatological diseases. Most recently, his research focused on the long-term follow-up and outcomes of HIV patients over time.
Ben holds an M.D. from the University of Texas McGovern Medical School as well as a B.A. in philosophy from Texas A&M University. He is passionate about healthcare innovation, diagnostics, biomarkers, and the growing science of longevity. In his free time, he enjoys chasing US powerlifting records, cooking Thai food, and convincing friends and family to watch documentaries with him.
