Chia-Fen Hsieh, PhD

Chia-Fen receives her Ph. D. degree in cell biology and biophysics. Her researching expertise is in single-molecular analysis in a living cell and cell imaging. She has presented in 6 international conferences (ASCB, SPIE, BPS, Biocomplex) and published 6 papers. She has worked as a project manager in a biotech incubator. She participated in the evaluation of early-stage university spin-offs and managed the bilateral communication of medical device communities between Taiwan and Japan. She has also led the R&D department in a 17M-US dollar Taiwanese biotech start-up, which focuses on developing 3D bio-printing technology.
She enjoys traveling, exercising, and cooking. She lives in Sweden now. While learning the ‘lagom’ lifestyle, she recently initiated her new adventure in a startup.
