Isha is a Bachelor of Commerce student at the University of Alberta majoring in Finance, minoring in Sociology and pursuing an Interdisciplinary Leadership program. In these areas of study, she has gained a deeper understanding of the intersection of finance and various developmental issues. In her internships, she has worked with various not-for-profit research and policy development roles. In the past year, she helped a Faculty member develop a Finance course aimed at Responsible Investing and pursued a research project related to gender inequality in the mutual fund industry.
She has been part of various student organizations and not-for-profit organizations in Edmonton. She is the President of TEDxUAlberta, board member of a not-for-profit aiming to empower young women professionals and represented her university in Engineering and Commerce Case Competition. In her free time, Isha likes to play squash and read.
