Jennifer Kan, PhD

Jenny is the co-founder and President of a venture-backed health tech startup that helps care and medical facilities hire care professionals, and a bioengineer and chemist by training. She is passionate about creating positive systemic changes in our world through STEM, ventures, and investing. Prior to founding her company, she advised startups, companies, and funding organizations as a scientific / technology consultant and performed postdoctoral research in synthetic biology at Caltech with Frances H. Arnold (2018 Nobel Laureate in Chemistry).
In her spare time, Jenny enjoys immersing in various startup and venture capital ecosystems, sourcing high-growth tech and deep tech startups for investment and supporting early-stage founders. Previously lived and worked in LA, Cambridge, Zürich, Kyoto, Tokyo, and Hong Kong, Jenny is now located in sunny San Diego, where she enjoys the perfect weather and the outdoor with her family.
