Jon is an MBA candidate at the Johns Hopkins University Carey School of Business with a concentration in Healthcare, Technology, and Innovation. Before enrolling in school, Jon completed an administrative fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Comprehensive Transplant Center where he was mentored by both clinical and administrative leaders. He worked on a data-driven nephrology budget and payer analysis, a process improvement proposal for organ procurement reimbursement, and a business analysis targeting opportunities for growth in all solid organ programs.
Previously, Jon had a rewarding career brokering brand collaborations and equity deals for talent and fashion models with F500's and startups. During his tenure in talent management, he worked to innovate the business model of talent agencies, partnering talent with startups to exchange public influence for equity and worked alongside top global brands to launch new products to gain new consumers. Jon regularly looked for ways to create impact in an industry that was not known for it. This included launching an initiative with Tyra Banks to end size restrictions in beauty advertising, representing the first woman wearing a hijab for a global cosmetics campaign, and the first transgender model for L’Oréal. He also partnered with community organizations to promote access for underrepresented populations.
Combining his interests in innovating business models and having an impact, Jon is now looking to help launch innovative products that make healthcare more efficient and equitable and improve patients' quality of life, recovery times, and outcomes.
