Kaitlin is currently an MPH/MBA student at Johns Hopkins where she is exploring how to leverage health technology (e.g., wearables, AI-facilitated platforms) to improve healthcare delivery. Prior to graduate school, she worked in a neuropsychological lab at UPMC studying the relationship between decision-making, non-suicidal self-harm behaviors, and brain abnormalities. Later, she switched to the industry and worked as a product operation specialist for a chronic disorder management App for an insurance company. She did her pre-MBA internship as a venture capital investment assistant conducting market analysis and helping health tech startups with co-founder matching, finding product-market-fit, and market expansion. Because of her previous experience as a researcher and venture capitalist, She’s very interested in the lab-to-market process and hopes to facilitate the commercialization of lab findings.
In her spare time, she is a scuba diver and loves hiking, camping, and outdoor activities. She also enjoys running with her dog.
