Leyton is a rising sophomore studying Applied Mathematics and Computer Science at Brown University. He is currently an engineer at Stream, an early-stage, venture-backed startup in the passion economy market. Leyton is also a project manager for the Brown University Visual Prosthesis Project, building a machine learning-driven assistive device for the blind alongside a team of undergrads. Previously, Leyton worked on frameworks at RISC-V startup SiFive, planetary rover software at NASA Ames, and automated melanoma segmentation at Stanford.
Leyton is passionate about the transformative impact AI applications can have on healthcare systems, and he is particularly excited about diagnostics and wearables. In his free time, Leyton enjoys running, cooking, and reading non-fiction and is an avid Bay Area sports fan.
