Michael is an MD/MBA candidate at Yale. As a future OBGYN and a former patient, he cares deeply about healthcare innovation, health equity, medical policy, and the value of early diagnosis. His research has focused on FDA drug safety warnings and their impact on reimbursement, access to medicines and healthcare services, and medical education. Prior to attending medical school, Michael spent 3 years as a healthcare consultant at IQVIA (formerly IMS Health), focusing on strategy, commercialization, pricing, and data analytics. Consulting project highlights include optimizing R&D processes within a large research organization, analyzing the use of value frameworks by various stakeholders, leading long-term strategic planning at a major biotechnology firm, and facilitating post-merger integration at a top pharmaceutical company.
Michael holds a BS in Molecular Biophysics & Biochemistry from Yale. In addition to his healthcare interests, he maintains a career as a professional carillonneur, reads copiously, runs often, and loves experimental cooking.
