Oriana recently received her Ph.D. in System Developmental Biology at the University of Cincinnati, where her research focused on deciphering how biological systems control random events during pattern formation. She published a first-author paper in Nature and has co-authored multiple papers during her graduate school. She is passionate about using cutting-edge technology to improve human health and quality of life. RA Capital is a Boston-based healthcare cross-over fund. At RA Capital, Oriana performed scientific diligence for over 20 companies and mapped the competitive landscape for CRISPR therapeutics with over 60 programs and platforms. Oriana enjoyed cooking and hang out with her friends and family, she also has a two-year-old puppy.
