Phillip is a 1st year MD candidate at Columbia University – Vagelos College of Physicians & Surgeons. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Northwestern University with a B.S. in biomedical engineering.
Prior to medical school, Phillip worked as an R&D engineer at Medtronic, specifically in the diabetes business unit. In addition to his industry and research experience in medical devices, he has worked on various projects for optimizing processes within the hospital and clinician workflows. He is passionate about healthcare innovation, particularly for medical devices and hospital systems/operations.
In his free time, Phillip enjoys playing golf, dabbling with the ukulele, and checking out speakeasies.
