Rick Mathews is an MD/ PhD Candidate at the Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Oregon. He holds a bachelors in Biomedical Engineering from the Grove School of Engineering at the City College of New York. His research focuses on cardiovascular physiology and pathology with an emphasis on endothelial cell behavior.
Rick is interested in expanding physician resources and applying preventative healthcare practices to better clinical outcomes for communities. He hopes to contribute toward a future where preventative and data enabled care defines the relationship between providers and patients.
