Sam is pursuing a dual MBA and MPP at MIT Sloan and Harvard Kennedy School. Prior to graduate school, Sam was a management consultant in Accenture’s Health and Public Service Practice for 4 years in Los Angeles, helping healthcare payers in the United States optimize their processes. Sam also was an Intern for Health Velocity Capital, where he sourced and evaluated healthcare software and services startups across the country, helping identify ideal targets for Series A or Series B investments. He is also currently an Impact Investing Intern at CapShift, a platform connecting investors with impact opportunities.
Sam received his bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering from the University of Southern California. He enjoys traveling, skiing, seeing movies, musical theatre, and opera. He is passionate about healthcare and expanding access to high quality and affordable care for vulnerable populations.
