Saumya Choudhary, MBA

Saumya is currently a second year MBA student at University of Rochester. She is passionate about healthcare and determined to make the world a better place through impact investing. Prior to business school, Saumya worked with Pfizer for three years and focused on the optimization of manufacturing process as well as introducing new products on the site. She was awarded Pfizer Quarterly Mission Award for her strategic recommendations and contributions towards enhancement of the manufacturing process.
Saumya holds a Bachelors and Masters in Chemical Engineering from NIT and IIT respectively. During her masters, she researched in the field of Energy and holds a patent for Optimal design of air cooled finned heat exchanger. She built a business model for the commercialization of her invention and was selected in the Andhra Pradesh Technology Business Accelerator. Saumya is a huge admirer of art and loves to paint in her free time. Her paintings have been published in magazines. She is also an athletic person and loves to run and play badminton. During the weekends, she loves to read and cook fusion cuisines.
