Shreya recently graduated with a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering and an MBA from Georgia Institute of Technology (GT). Her research interests include materials design for AI and high-performance computing applications, and has presented at 5 international conferences, published 8 papers and won 3 best-paper awards. She believes that technological innovation will play a key role in achieving health equity, improving access to quality education, and solving environmental challenges. At Tech, she was involved in developing a telemedicine-based go-to-market strategy for a low-cost diagnostic tool, which identified fatal pregnancy complications. Previously, she won an idea-pitch competition, for a wearable that helped improve women’s safety.
She enjoys traveling, dance, cooking, chatting about socio-economic problems and listening to podcasts about how companies are founded.
