Swetha is a PhD candidate in the Ecology, Evolution, and Environmental Sciences program at Dartmouth College. Her research involves analyzing the social interactions in microbial communities. She hopes to one day be able to apply her research to help address environmental problems. Prior to arriving at Dartmouth, she obtained her Master’s degree in Environmental Science from Rutgers University. Swetha is also a practitioner of the south Indian classical dance form, Kuchipudi.
