Yijiao is an MBA student at Harvard Business school, where she is exploring ways to leverage technology and entrepreneurship to bring healthcare access to more people. She leads the Entrepreneurship and Funding Mechanisms track for the Cross-Harvard Project on Workforce, is a Student Fellow for the New Black Ventures Competition, and is advising two AI-enabled startups on campus.
Previously, Yijiao worked at the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB, and Malaria, where she served as chief of staff for both the Supply Operations department and the Community, Rights, and Gender department. As a management consultant at BCG, she worked extensively with Pharma clients, developed novel contraceptive products for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and performed due diligences for a number of private equity clients. Prior to BCG, she has worked with the Liberian minister of Health to restructure the Liberian medical education system.
Outside of work, Yijiao loves trying different cuisines (as well as trying to make them), hosting hot-pot for her friends, and is currently learning how to play the zither.
