Dariush Sarrafzadeh is an MBA candidate at the Haas School of Business. He is passionate about impact investing and utilizing AI and machine learning tools to harness the power of big data to make better data-driven decisions. He also serves as an associate for 52 Capital Partners an M&A strategic advisory firm. Prior to attending the Haas School of Business, Dariush spent 2 years as a project manager for a cleantech startup and 3 years as a management consultant. His consulting projects included work in the energy, environmental and technology sectors in countries such as the UAE, Turkey, Jordan and Nigeria.
Dariush holds a BS in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Purdue University. In his spare time, he loves to cook, hike, play rugby, golf, read, attend live music shows and is an avid traveler having visited 35 countries so far. The most recent book he enjoyed was Originals by Adam Grant and the next country on his list to visit is Japan.
