Irene Manousiouthakis is an MBA candidate in Marketing and Finance at The Wharton School interested in the intersection of retail, biotechnology, and sustainability. Previously a portfolio strategist at a fixed income asset manager in Los Angeles, she managed a variety of multi-asset portfolios across various institutional client types. She brings experience in investing, portfolio management, data analytics, process improvement, and cross-functional project management. Irene is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania having majored in Bioengineering, with minors in Economics and Engineering Entrepreneurship. She is also a CFA charterholder. Currently, she serves as VP of Social Impact for Wharton’s MBA student body government and is a board member of the PE/VC Club and Wharton Impact Investing Partners.
An avid lover of all things fashion, design, wellness, and culture, she loves to stay up to date on trends influencing the minds and hearts of the consumer. Her latest interdisciplinary interests surround sustainable textiles and the circular economy.
